Brett Phillips is a Christchurch-based visual artist. Through his work, he examines the self, the other, and the constructed realities we navigate. With a Bachelor of Arts 1991 (Anthropology, Art History minor) from the University of Otago, his background reflects in the way he views and responds to the world around him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Infused with the rebellious energy of Christchurch\u2019s street art, his work is loud and intentional. Blending traditional techniques with, words and motifs, Brett\u2019s work exists in the post-modern, conceptual space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
